Sensory Room ServiceWhat's Involved?
MPDA have been supported by The National Lottery Awards for All, Cash for Kids, Community Foundation NI, CFM, EA, ANBC and The Northern Ireland Housing Executive to develop a state of the art sensory room within MPDA Community Hub. This room has been designed and fitted by SpaceKraft. Our staff facilitate one to one child/parent/carer play services within the Sensory Room. These staff are highly trained in the delivery of Play Services for children and young people and they have undertaken advanced training to deliver sensory and play services for children with an ASD diagnosis. MPDA’s staff are Autism NI Keyhole Intervention trained and we have also received Autism NI’s Impact Award.
MPDA provide free access to the Sensory Room for those who are registered and attend MPDA’s services. However, if you are not registered, you can pay to book the Sensory Room for one to one or small family groups. Please click on the link below for pricing, availability and terms and conditions.
